Slinger / Banksmen courses are held on various dates throughout the year. There are two main types of course held
The first type is the fully registered CITB training course . This course lasts for 4 days ( 1 x day health and safety ). This course covers all the relevant aspects of the Slinger/ Banksman role.
Everything from site safety, lifting operations , lifting gear, straps and slings to hand signals is covered on this course. The course also covers LOLA regulations.
On completion of the above you will be awarded the CPCS red card
The second course run is an 'in house' version of the CITB course . This lasts for two days. It covers all the basic principles of the registered course although not in as much detail. This course is designed for companies whos personnel are working on their own sites and facilaties.
A 'in house ' certificate is awarded on completion.
